- 1. दिल्ली में एक प्राइवेट कंपनी में मैनेजर की नौकरी छोड़कर अपने गांव में मशरूम का व्यवसाय शुरू करने वाले चंबा निवासी डडुर गांव के सुशांत ने अपने भाई इंजीनियर प्रकाश उनियाल के साथ मिलकर 2019 में व्यवसायिक तौर पर मशरूम उत्पादन शुरू किया था।
- 2. साल 2020 में ही 80 कुंतल का उत्पादन कर 14 लाख रुपये का टर्नओवर हासिल किया था। जिससे उनके इस प्रयास की गांव-गांव चर्चा होने लगी तो बात प्रधानमंत्री तक पहुंच गई।
- 3. पीएम मोदी ने किसान सम्मान निधि डिजिटल ट्रांसफर कार्यक्रम के दौरान डीएम कार्यालय में वीडियो कांफ्रेंसिंग के जरिए सुशांत के प्रयासों की प्रशंसा की।

- 2. इसके तहत पात्र लक्ष्य समूहों को अल्पावधि प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम - अप-स्किलिंग/ री-स्किलिंग; उद्यमिता विकास कार्यक्रम और दीर्घकालिक प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम के आधार पर कौशल विकास प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम प्रदान किया जाता है।
- 3. सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता मंत्रालय द्वारा वर्ष, 2021-22 से प्रधानमंत्री दक्ष और कुशलता सम्पन्न हितग्रही (प्रधानमंत्री दक्ष) योजना लागू की गई है
- 4. पिछले 05 वर्षों में लक्षित समूहों के 2,73,152 लोगों को कौशल विकास प्रशिक्षण दिया गया है. इस प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम से लक्ष्य समूहों के लोग स्वरोजगार या किसी उपयुक्त नौकरी के माध्यम से अपना और अपने परिवार का जीवन यापन करने में सर्मथ बन रहे हैं।

- Sequoia Capital India, the Indian arm of the US-based investment company, tops the list of the Hurun India Top Unicorn Investors List, 2020, brought out by the Hurun Research Institute this (Wednesday) morning.
- The second position is shared by Japan’s SoftBank and the UK’s Steadview Capital with investments in seven Indian unicorns each.
- In July 2020, it announced its intentions to invest $1.35 billion through a venture fund of $525 million and a growth fund of $825 million. Geographically, both these funds will be focussed on making investments in India and South East Asia.

- Uber launched an on demand 24x7 Auto Rentals service in India. The service allows riders to book an auto and its driver for several hours with the liberty to make multiple stops along a journey, it said in a statement.
- The service in now live in Bengaluru and is available in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Pune, it said.
- Prices start at Rs 169 for a one-hour/ ten km package with the option of selecting from multiple hourly packages that can be booked up to a maximum of eight hours, the statement said.

- US wireless carrier Verizon Communications Inc and Amazon.com Inc may invest more than $4 billion for a stake in India's Vodafone Idea Ltd, the Mint newspaper reported on Thursday, sending shares in the struggling Indian telecom firm up 10 per cent.

- The company has secured another round three months after it secured last round in June from Mary Meeker’s venture capital firm Bond at $10.5 billion valuation. According to data from Crunchbase, this is the fifth investment raised by the company in 2020 beginning from $200 million round in January and February each followed by $100 million in June and $122 million in August.
- Collectively, the company has raised $1.12 billion this year and $1.6 billion in overall funding across 16 funding rounds since its launch. The new funding round is worth around $500 million even as Byju’s valuation has been slightly marked up to $10.8 billion, a source told Financial Express Online.
- The latest round was led by global technology investor Silver Lake while existing investors Tiger Global, General Atlantic and Owl Ventures also pooled capital.
